Seasonal delivery driver positions available now. Vehicle provided free of charge. Great earnings. Training provided.

Earn £11.60ph, and £16.90ph for overtime, from 1st November 2018 to 29th December 2018 (£10.60ph and £15.90ph overtime outside of these dates) delivering packages and supporting in station activities.

Manpower has been retained to engage seasonal delivery drivers to deliver packages and smiles to customers and other drop off locations this festive season.

As well as earning £11.60 per hour and £16.90 per hour for overtime hours from 1st November 2018 to 29th December 2018 (£10.60ph and £15.90 outside of these dates), as a seasonal delivery driver you will have full access to Manpower's employee benefits including paid holiday and discounts. Who can deliver?

To become a seasonal delivery driver, you need to be at least 18 years of age with a valid UK or EU driving licence. You will need to be entitled to work in the UK and pass a background and criminal record check which includes, but is not limited to, a review of driving licence records.

General Responsibilities

• Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road
• Ensuring the delivery vehicle is clean, fuelled and in good operating condition at all times
• Sort and prepare a delivery route to meet the customer promise
• Checking for accuracy in the packages that have been sorted
• Use hand-held technology to deliver packages, manage delivery progress and solve problems
• Take care of parcels, the vehicles being driven, other team members and yourself to deliver a great customer experience
• Interact in a positive and professional manner with customers and the general public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail and business locations
• Follow up on customer requests or problems, keeping customers informed of delivery progress

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch and/or stretch
• Ability to operate and navigate a van up to 3.5 tonnes
• Ability to effectively operate a GPS device
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 23KG
• Capable of moving up and down stairs
• Possess a valid UK or EU drivers license with no more than 6 penalty points
• Proficient in English
• 18 years of age or older
• Prior professional driving experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to problem solve independently
• Strong communication skills
