Stores/Delivery Assistant

Our client, a painting and decorating supplier, is looking for a self-motivated, reliable person to join their small team as a sales assistant/trade counter/driver in their Newbury location.

This role is a pivotal positions within our client's branch network, as it are often the first point of contact for our valued customers. The role is busy and varied, and every day can be different.

There are 3 elements to the role:

• Driving - delivering products to customers - 3.5t van
• Warehousing - checking stock, goods in and despatch
• First point of contact - face to face Customer Service

You must have a full, clean driver's license, a passion for customer service and an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment. Previous retail experience is desired, as is working in a similar environment mixing paints, etc.

Pay is £9.00/hour, average working hours 37 hours/week. This is an ongoing temporary position, possibly temp-to-perm for the right candidate.
