LGV Class 2 ADR Driver - Minibulk (Gases, Tanks)

Our Client is looking for a professional LGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join their team based out of Stalbridge for a 6 month temporary contract. The role is to deliver gas via a DAF Class 2 rigid tanker to homes and businesses in the area.

The successful candidate will be required to ensure that all customers receive deliveries of product in an effective, efficient, safe and professional manner, in line with operational business plans. You will also be required to operate to acceptable customer service standards and within the law at all times.

Hours will be a guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, working on a rolling shift pattern to include weekends and public holidays. You will also be required to work overtime as required.

the successful candidate will;

• Hold a current LGV 2 driving licence
• Will ideally hold a current ADR Class 2 in tanks vocational certificate, although not essential, as ADR training may be given to the ideal candidate
• Must be fully conversant with tachographs and driver's hours legislation
• Need to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness at all times
• Be customer focused
• Have a flexible approach to hours of work and be prepared to work weekends and public holidays as required to meet the needs of the business.

If you are successful in being offered this role you will be required to carry out pre-employment checks including; 5 year address history, 3 year employment history, criminal record check and driving licence verification. You must also be medically fit to work.
