Class 1 Driver - Days/Nights/Trampers

Our client in the Preston area are looking for confident and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers on a temporary basis.

We are looking to book available drivers in for the Christmas period, some of which with start dates asap.

Our client has a new Fleet of vehicles arriving on 01.12.2018, all drivers will be block booked in December up to and including 24th December, for those who want to work in between Christmas and New Year they will also have requirements. They are extending the fleet this year, and utilisation will carry on into the new year .

for December Requirements are

Trampers = all shifts covered, but predominantly weekends. Must be available for early starts.

Days;

4 x 4 on 4 off drivers on days for Cold store movements start times 0600, 0700, 0800, 0900 working 12-13 hours. £13.50ph

2 x 4 on 4 off night/afternoon staff for Cold store movements starting at 1530 & 1630 working until approx. 0230-0300. £16ph

Days = other day shifts also available, all over 8 hours. £13.50ph

Nights = night trampers 15.30 starts, delivering to RDC depots. £16ph with £25 per night allowance

Nights = night drivers starting between 15.30 & 20.00. £16ph
