Job Details

Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers, is looking for a HR Coordinator to support the HR Leadership team by providing proactive coordination and effective administrative support to enable the smooth running and effective performance of the HR function. Working closely with the Heads of HR, the HR Coordinator will provide effective coordination related to the delivery of people-related projects and plans.

The HR Coordinator is required to operate with minimal supervision and apply sound judgement and initiative in order to prioritise and complete tasks, often to tight deadlines. The role also requires the post holder to deal with sensitive/confidential information with tact and discretion.


Main Responsibilities:

*Schedule meetings, prepare materials and book rooms/facilities for Heads of HR as required.
*Arrange travel and accommodation through approved systems, ensuring the most cost-effective options are secured as well as the timely reconciliation of expenses.
*Coordinate a range of people-related project activity, including preparing and updating related documentation and reports and coordinating input from key contributors
*Liaise across the business to resolve issues including those relating to meetings, scheduling and reporting.
*Support the preparation of Board reports ensuring consistency and accuracy of information.
*Proactively respond to ad-hoc requests for information, including data analysis and preparation of summary presentations.
*Provide support in preparation for bi-annual People Talent Reviews (PTR) process.
*Provide cover for other HR Coordinators as required.
*Support the smooth running of the office, ordering office supplies, equipment repairs as required.


Skills Required:

*Experience of providing effective team coordination and administrative support at senior level, ideally in an HR environment.
*Experience of working in a project-based environment with ability to produce high quality documentation, presentations and reports.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise/multi-task to tight deadlines.
*High level of proficiency in MS Office applications, including diary management in Outlook.
*Ability to work with high level of tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
*Be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills, taking initiative, strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
