A prestigious utilities company, you would be working for one of the largest and most forward thinking energy companies in the UK. They business is powered by talented individuals and they have recently embarked on an exciting Cloud Transformation project, transforming their business with a far reaching program of change, enabled by Information Technology.

What will you be doing? You will be responsible for the effective planning and timely execution of risk based audits from the company's internal audit programme providing constructive appraisal, insight and challenge and acting as a catalyst for positive change. You will plan and undertake audits in challenging business areas in line with best practice methodology and agree effective plans for control improvement and risk management. With your primary areas of focus, cyber security and resilience and organisational development and change, you will have the ability to articulate technical issues with both technical and non-technical audiences. Acting as a trusted partner to the operational teams you will contribute to identifying the need for operational changes that improve business performance, resilience and ensure regulatory compliance. As a senior team member, you will also be expected to support the development of junior audit staff.

As a Group Auditor, we need our ideal candidate to be a graduate in an Information Communication Technology / Information Systems related discipline. Its essential that you have either the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP) qualification along with extensive post qualification IT audit experience. As well as this it is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate up to date knowledge of cyber threats and countermeasures. The successful candidate will be very analytical, have strong communication skills, strong planning and organisation skills, be assertive, and have strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities. You will have the ability to thrive in a changing and varied environment and an ability to meet demanding delivery timescales.

This role could potentially suit someone who has recently graduated in the relevant disciplines.
