Graduate Tax Law

My Client is an international Accounting Services Provider with offices in Dublin and throughout Europe. They have recently won several very large projects with European clients and now have three new openings for Graduate Tax Trainee's in their office here in Dublin. These are full time permanent positions with full training provided.

The salary will be €23,500 pa, to start. This is a full time, permanent role.

The Position for Graduate Tax Trainee:

Our indirect tax trainees begin their career path with classroom training and working also in their team. They will progress to working with on their own portfolio of international corporate clients, with the goal to becoming a professional in their field. You will be provided with the relevant coaching, skills, training and support for your career development. Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

Full on-going training is provided working in our Shared Service Centre here in Dublin for our European clients.
Develop an in depth knowledge and understanding of EU VAT legislation and its application across multiple EU member states
Provide VAT consulting advice and practical assistance to our European clients on a wide variety of international VAT issues
Understand and provide technical advice when dealing with international VAT registrations and compliance issues
Research, understand and interpret EU legislation.
Prepare advice to our EU clients
Monitor and advise on changes in EU VAT laws and regulation
Provide an excellent, professional, service to our clients and colleagues in other offices.
Learn, develop and build on your knowledge and learn all our accountancy products and the different legislation that applies to each of our European clients.

Your experience:
Degree Qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting or Law
Ambitious and want to pursue a career in VAT / Indirect Tax
Responsible and commercially aware - build a successful career in business
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to deliver and implement solutions
Ability to work independently and own initiative
Ability to develop skills to manage multiple client relationships
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills essential
Excellent computer skills, Excel and Word
Fluent (written & spoken) English

Salary: Initial starting salary is €23,500 pa. Full Time, Permanent Position.
