Manpower have a great opportunity for an experienced FLT (Counterbalance) to join a team in a warehouse in Aberdeen.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse. Pallets will vary in sizes and requirements so the candidate will also have good attention to detail and be proficient in following instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
To maintain the safe operational use of the Fork Trucks and Pallet Trucks, reporting any issues
Ensure all daily checks are completed and Daily check sheet is completed
To make sure that the working area for the forklifts are clear and accessible at all times
To load & unload vehicles effectively with caution and following all H&S guidelines
To be aware and practice the Goods In and Out procedures and the correct placing of stock & finished work
Responsibility of all internal & external areas to be kept cleared of rubbish including emptying bins when required and ensuring areas are used effectively for the storage of recycling, pallets, waste and parking
Ensure palletized goods are stored adequately to minimise damage when goods are removed from locations
To complete stock location checks as requested by Supervisors, including any adjustments, maintaining stock accuracy and integrity
Skills
Fork lift (Reach and Counterbalance) experience and 16 tonne License
To effectively follow verbal and written instructions and raise issues that arise
Ability to complete paperwork accurately and completely, understand the importance of detail and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal and c communication skills
Ability to work in a team and individually
Self-managing and proactive
