2nd Line Deskside Support Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Deskside Support Engineer to join our leading IT Client based in the Cheltenham area. Possessing strong technical and customer service skills you will be responsible for delivering ongoing support to the desktop infrastructure.
Due to the nature of this role all applicants must hold valid DV security clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with the customer to troubleshoot and resolve issues face to face as well as via phone and email
- Manage a case of queues to meet team wide SLA's
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve potential issues that affect the availability of the Desktop Support service
- Act as a point of contact within the team for other support teams and the end user
The ideal candidate will have good technical knowledge of the below as well as good troubleshooting skills:
- Windows XP
- Windows 7
- Remote profile issues
- Microsoft Windows 2003
- DFS
- DHCP
- NTFS
- Printing hardware/ software
- Office 2003
Due to the nature of this role all candidates must hold valid DV security Clearance.
