Warehouse Operative

Join one of the world's largest express delivery companies as a Loading Bay Operative at their warehouse in Atherstone, the central hub to our client's delivery network.

You'll load and unload packages from company vehicles, scan, sort and label them as required, and report any issues that arise - such as damaged packages or prohibited items, maintaining our clients excellent standard of service to their customers.

WORKING PATTERN:
Working Monday to Friday, start times vary between either 17:30pm or 20:00pm while finish times are not set and vary on a nightly basis but they aim for 02:30am

Please not that the starting pay is only in affect from 29/10/18 till 23/12/18 ( 8 week period)

After this period the standard pay rates below will then be in affect from 24/1/18

STARTING RATE OF PAY:

Under the age of 25 - £7.38 per hour
Age of 25 and over - £7.83 per hour

After 12 weeks of service - £9.22 per hour Nights, £8.66 per hour Shift
After 78 working week years of service - £12.08 per hour, £11.01 per hour Shifts

Holidays: Up to 28 days accrued holiday per year

You must have the ability to work within a team and be customer focused. You'll make sure all company standards, policies, procedures and agreements are adhered to, in line with your induction training. This will ensure all deliveries safely arrive at their final destination on-time and in an excellent condition.
