Salary £21,640 per annum plus commission, company vehicle

Hours 8.30 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays 8.30 am to 1.00 pm
My clients are a leading vehicle retailer based in Aldershot who is looking to recruit a full time New/Used Van Sales Executive
Purpose
Executing all measures to promote Van SalesUsing, establishing, and fostering good contacts with departments, which support SalesWelcoming, and providing customers with specialist advice on productsHolding Sales presentations and providing customers with information and advice on Mercedes-Benz light commercial new and used vehicles, equipment, and accessoriesConcluding Sales contracts and making any required amendmentsCarrying out follow-up contacts to customer and prospects; processing and managing a customer filesMaintain and control dealership database as well as ensuring that Mercedes-Benz UK campaigns are promoted throughout the display areaAttendance at ride and drive eventsPromoting a positive attitude within the business at all times
Accountabilities:
Achieve / Exceed Individual Sales targetsUpdate and improve product knowledgeMaintain customer database, ensure customer/prospects call programme is adhered to, achieve prospecting targets within given territoryEffective use of company IT systemsPromote at all times, the Mercedes-Benz culture of quality and excellence and deliver the Mercedes-Benz experienceDeliver first class customer serviceSite responsibility for the display areaNoting daily footfall numbersInforming and advising visitors on Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles, equipment, prices, conditions, technical data and other issuesExplaining differences between Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles and competitors' vehicles: highlighting usefulness and advantagesEvaluating used vans, along with the manager's guidelines and arranging for technical appraisals to be carried outOrganising and carrying out test drives and evaluating resultsCompiling and sending out offersPositioning information material (brochures, catalogues etc) and ensuring availabilityInvolvement in design of exhibition space and product placementInvolvement in sales eventsGuaranteeing professional level of productFostering contacts to key individuals, associations and groups in the regionOffering and selling accessoriesExplaining financing and leasing opportunities and insurancesConluding sales, negotiating terms (trade-ins, type and method of payment, method of vehicle transfer, etc), if necessary obtaining agreements and drawing up the sales contractOffering and selling service packagesClarifying, agreeing and organising handling of used vehiclesRecording the customer's order, preparing cost calculation and passing them on to the respective departmentChecking confirmation of order and, if necessary passing it on to the customer; recording, dealing with and passing on customer's required amendments (changes to vehicle type and fittings)Agreeing on processing and registration procedures with customerReaching agreemtns with internal partners (ordering, Sales Management) ands external contacts (financing and leasing partners etc.)Supervising all processes up to deliveryAgreeing with customers when the vehicle is to be put at their disposal (date, delivery, registration etc)Handing over the vehicle and introducing the customer to the vehiclePlanning and carrying out regular contact with customersRegularly recording customer satisfaction and initiating relevant measures
