Our client, a well-established energy company is looking for an experienced administrate assistant to join their team based in Aztec West, Bristol. The aim of the role is to assist with work in a busy project engineering environment. The role is initially for a 2 month period; however, this can be extended depending on the performance of the individual.

Main activities will include providing assistance to the Engineering teams by:

  • Assisting with all aspects of administrative management and storage of data including use of electronic document management system.
  • Assisting in the transmittal of official deliverables.
  • Coordinating between the Section Managers, Group Leaders and Engineers to support deliverables and resolve day to day administrative problems.
  • Scheduling meetings and other similar activities.
  • Preparing business correspondence typically using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Sending, receiving and responding to emails.
  • Managing documents and files.
  • Performing multi-faceted general office support.
  • Managing mailing distribution lists as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educated to a minimum of A Level standard or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' experience as an Administrator
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office and the ability to work with other tools as required
  • French speaker advantageous but not essential.
  • The candidate must be well organised, courteous and reliable. They should have good technical and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task.
  • The candidate should possess a good teamwork ethic and we able to work collaboratively and meet tight deadlines.
