Manpower is currently recruiting an Analyst on behalf of our client, a large multinational financial services corporation. This is a temporary role, for 3 months, and will be working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. You will be provided with training on your first month.

Position Description:

Merchant operations/Data analyst - B25 position.

This role sits within the International Merchant Marketing Solutions (EMEA & JAPA) team which is part of the Enterprise Marketing Platform Solutions (EMPS). EMPS is the global enterprise utility responsible for end-to-end marketing campaign execution processes, enabling marketing innovation for our partners, and delivering efficiencies to enable faster speed to market and cost efficiencies, all while ensuring we are delivering on the promise to Card Members and Merchants

In this role, you will need to develop an end to end understanding of digital offer onboarding process with specific focus on supporting the data validation team in evaluating and analyzing merchant data quality in support of Customer (Cardmember) marketing campaigns & initiatives - this role is an essential component of the overall merchant offer set up process which helps ensure AXP delivers a consistent, high quality experience to our Cardmembers.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Primary focus will be (75%):

  • Supporting the Data Validation team in the evaluation of merchant data for priority merchants and industries, across all International markets.
  • Assisting in identifying and implementing approaches to remediate data challenges, working closely with the Data Validation Manager, Marketing Governance colleagues and other key teams across GMS, EMPS & ED&A.
  • Sharing of best practice & key learning's as it relates to merchant data integrity.

- Secondary focus will be (25%):

  • Understanding the end-to-end digital offer on-boarding; this includes offer setup, offer monitoring, issue resolution and reporting.
  • Be a strong SME for the multiple offer platforms, able to consult and represent the team in face to face meetings with stakeholders.
  • Support roll out of new capabilities and marketing solutions using our network platform in EMEA.
  • To produce campaign reports providing insights on department performance in order to drive learning and improvements.

We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who is self-motivated, can drive others and who can act with a high level of independence. You will have a strong focus on customers and stakeholders, both internal and external. The role combines a great instinct for identifying improvements and developing processes from an operational level. You will also need a strong focus on users and have the technical aptitude to work with technology teams. Finally, you will need to feel comfortable working in a dynamic and international environment with lots of patience.

Required Qualifications:

- Expert knowledge of Excel and basic knowledge/ experience of AXP Merchant data platforms including: MLE, CRMD, GMAR and RAMP.

- Ability to work to tight deadlines while at the same time having an excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Experience of working internationally with the flexibility and cultural sensitivity to maintain effective stakeholder relationships across different geographies.

- Excellent data manipulation and analysis skills with a strong attention to detail.

- Strong problem solving & project management skills and an ability to operate independently & with a proven track record of driving results.

- High quality written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to translate technical analysis in a simple, easy to understand way. Language skills an advantage.
