Amazon are hiring Temporary Warehouse Associates to help us continue delivering packages and smiles to our customers.

The role

Working in our Delivery Stations and Sortation Centres, you'll be receiving, sorting , packing, and dispatching Amazon parcels, working to the high standards that ensure we are constantly exceeding our customers' expectations.

Working within our fast-paced inbound and outbound departments, you'll work with every package imaginable using radio frequency scanners, readying them for dispatch across the UK. You'll be helping us to make sure we're sending the right product to the right place.

Working to strict safety, quality, and production standards, you'll be staging, feeding lines, and re-sorting mis-sorts, as well as ensuring that age-restricted products, food (including meat and nuts), alcohol, and chemicals sold by Amazon and Amazon Marketplace sellers in the UK are handled correctly.

The person

To succeed in your role, you'll need to be a highly driven, motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced, team-based environment. As you'll be handling parcels of all sizes and shapes, you'll need to be used to standing and walking for the majority of your shift (8-11 hours, flex / part-time shifts may vary) and lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, and stretching to move products up to 15kg around our facilities. Working on a secure mezzanine at a height of 9-12 meters, you'll need to be used to regularly climbing and descending stairs safely too.

Day shift 
0 - 40 hours = £10.50 per hour
40 - 50 hours = £15.75 per hour 
50+ hours = £21.00 per hour 

Night Shift
0-40 hours = £11.50 per hour
40 – 50 hours = £17.25 per hour
50+ hours = £23.00 per hour

We will be offering a subsidised daily bus service to and from our site in Rochester, with pickup and drop off points at the following locations - Gillingham, Chatham, Strood, Rochester, Aylesford, Maidstone and Ashford.
