Production Fitter

Great opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a manufacturing / assembly role!! Do you have a practical background working in a factory environment? Do you have previous experience in working with fibreglass? ( an advantage but not essential ) Do you have previous forklift training / licence ( desirable ) Would you be happy to work shifts early and late 6.2.30- (Early) Monday to Friday 2-12 late Mon-Thursday? If so this could be the perfect job for you!!!

The role?? Assembly of a range of company products, which could include one or all of the following duties: reading of drawings, component assembly to finished goods, cutting, drilling, sanding, GRP laminating, sub assembly of steel fabrications, rotors, separators valves, etc. Maintenance of equipment and housekeeping to the highest standards.

Person specification qualification, Maths and English to GCSE or Similar Qualifications relevant to manufacturing operations Previous forklift training desirable. Experience & knowledge, A practical knowledge of assembly techniques consistent with the company product range.

Experience in working with fibreglass an advantage. The ability to understand and act on verbal or written instructions.

The ability to accurately measure and document production activities. A mature attitude to work which encompasses health & safety, quality and care as well as output.
