My client is looking for an experienced Gluing Operator for a permanent role based in Barwell. Applicants must be fully trained gluing operators who are capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Applicants must have:

• A proven background in setting, running and maintain gluing folding equipment.
• Strong technical experience with straight line crash lock work
• Experience of working within packaging would also be desirable but is not essential.

Job Responsibilities will include:

• Producing high value carton finishing to the highest of standards; effectively and efficiently.
• Setting machinery to the correct specification, working effectively to a production schedule, and ensuring that machines are operating to an optimum level against set company targets.
• Cleanliness and maintenance capabilities of equipment.
• To have a sound knowledge of operating glue gun systems; both hot melt and cold.

The role will cover Monday to Friday rotating over 3 shifts. In return they offer 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, death in service and a group pension.
