Working for a very well-known household retail business market leader we are looking for a full time experienced Marketing Executive to join the Marketing team in our clients lovely new Reading offices. This role is to support the more traditional means of Direct Marketing to include all DM, CRM and Email Marketing Campaigns. The Digital methods sit within a separate team.

The salary for the position is between £23,800 - £36,500 depending on skills and experience + excellent benefits and would suit a Marketing Executive through to a Junior Marketing Manager

The Role

  • You will be passionate and committed to delivering a variety of compelling marketing campaigns.
  • You'll be part of a dedicated team delivering communications to retain existing base, cross-sell additional products.
  • You'll work with stakeholders on bespoke campaigns - knowing from the start what success looks like and how you're going to achieve it.
  • You'll be writing best in class briefs which will inspire agencies (and win awards!), managing the end to end creative process including consolidating feedback and gaining all the necessary approvals.
  • You'll get excited when you see great creative that delivers against the brief but also know how to provide the not so good feedback.
  • Ideally you will understand the intricacies of working in a regulated environment and within the legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • You'll be adept at understanding and interpreting data.
  • Your Skills and Experience

  • You will have 2/3 years previous experience working in either an agency or client side marketing team.
  • A B2C/ Financial services background would be great albeit not essential.
  • You will be confident in managing campaigns from idea through to execution
  • You will be comfortable liaising with agencies and colleagues at all levels and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • You will have a great eye for detail, with a real can-do attitude.
