Energy Data Analyst

Our client, a highly-successful energy and environmental management consultancy is looking to recruit an intellient and organised individual to join its Data Team.

Responsibilities include:

- Using Energy Management software to run data reports and input these into recharge templates in MSFT Excel

- Handling large volumes of data, analysing usage patterns and identifying aomalies

- Delivering regular reports to clients within deadlines and handling feedback

- If possible, identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, such as automating manual tasks

- Working with our Technical Team to develop understandign of electrical and mechanical systems within buildings.

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

- Highly numerate and logical - will ideally have higher education in a mathematical or scientific subject

- Should enjoy problem-solving and thinking analytically, with strong attention to detail

- Very competent in the use of MSFT Excel, e.g., macros, formulae and pivot tables

- Knowledge of the energy industry would be preferred but not mandatory

- Must be willing to develop their technical knowledge, and be able to learn new skills quickly

- Happy to work in a busy, deadline-driven environment

Candidates will be rigorously interviewed and assessed against their IT/Excel skills. The hourly temporary rate will be £11.00 - £11.50/hour, depending on experience.
