An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist based at their prestigious facility in Leatherhead (3 days per week in Leatherhead and 2 days per week working from home) This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25-hour week. This role is paying between £35,000 and £39,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

The role of Ben & Jerry's Digital Marketing Specialist includes the independent leadership, development and implementation of Ben & Jerry's digital marketing activities in UK. The role is supported by, and working closely with, Ben & Jerry's global digital marketing team, the local Ben & Jerry's team and the performance marketing team to deliver the full range of digital activities to help meet Ben & Jerry's business goals.

In particular, these are:

  • Digital Strategy & Campaign Development:
  • Independent planning, development, implementation and optimization of digital awareness, equity and performance marketing campaigns (product, including social mission campaigns) in collaboration with the global digital team and local partners (including independent management of the digital and media agency)
  • Independent management of Ben & Jerry's social media channels including performance insights and analysis
  • Local implementation of Ben & Jerry's global digital strategy
  • "First point of contact" for all relevant agencies (i.e. media agency)
  • External orientation so that Ben & Jerry's is constantly evolving in the field of digital marketing

  • Data Driven Media
  • Defining the KPI matrix to match the campaign objective and in-flight optimization for ROI maximization of campaigns
  • Creation and analysis of digital reports and independent derivation and implementation of recommended actions

  • Content Development:
  • Independent management and development of content calendars in coordination with the global and regional team
  • Identify local content needs and manage local content development in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Independent review and optimization of content using global KPIs to achieve the set business goals.

  • eCommerce:
  • Self-responsible leadership, implementation and strategic development of Ben & Jerry's eCommerce strategy & activities in collaboration with the OOH and eCommerce team
  • Integrate all eCommerce activities into the overarching Ben & Jerry's Communications Plan to maximize the synergy between the different communication channels

Further development of the performance marketing approach in the entire refresh team and rolling out of learnings

Qualifications:

Very strong digital affinity and many years of experience in the field of digital incl. eCommerce with a focus on

  • Data driven media - KPI definition and in-flight optimization
  • Our client is particularly interested in agency background with Solid digital experience
  • Performance marketing - integration of awareness and performance campaigns, understanding of te-targeting.
  • Digital Content - Testing and optimization.
  • Marketing experience (BB or BD), ideally in the context of an international marketing team
  • A creative eye with a keen sense for consumers
  • Assumption of responsibility of own projects and experiences in interface management
  • Teamwork, flexibility, communication skills, organizational skills, self-employment, resilience, assertiveness, self-confident and confident appearance
  • Strong ability to analyze complex issues
  • Completed commercial training or studies
  • It would be advantageous to have basic knowledge of internal procedures and processes as well as systems (e.g. DCIW, Ariba, ACNielsen, GfK, Prisma, IPM, Blue, SAP, etc.)
  • Very good PC skills (especially MS Office)
  • Experienced in buying digital media and manage not only analytics but also PII data collection and management in systems like Adobe Cloud.
