Our client a leading energy company are looking to recruit a Learning Metrics Analyst on a 6 month term. As the Learning Metrics Analyst you will be responsible for producing valuable insight to the business on organisational level people development activity using a range of tools including learning analytics, forecasting, modelling and data visualisation support. You will undertake data collection and collation, analysis, modelling and trending on a range of learning metrics including learning activity levels, financial and budgetary spend

  • Responsible for all company level people development reporting and analytics requirements, the post holder will be responsible for the development and production of a range of intuitive reports and Management Information tools and analysis to support decision making within the business
  • Responsible for the development of new tools, processes and governance to facilitate effective learning reporting and improve the analytical capabilities of the organisation and drive effectiveness analysis of learning metrics
  • Provide clear, concise and insightful narrative to support the learning analysis to provide clarity and understanding of key learning information for a variety of senior stakeholders across the organisation to maximise value creation and support learning related commercial decisions.
  • Produce impactful and clear visual summaries, scorecards and reports - enabling key stakeholders to easily identify trends etc - utilising a variety of learning tools and technologies
  • Responsible for budget management and reporting for a variety of training budgets, people development budgets ensuring timely returns to key stakeholders in line with key timelines and targets. Take the lead on all reporting and budget submissions - ensuring clear timelines, roles and responsibilities and accountabilities. Where required, design a range of KPI's and measures for approval by the Head of Learning Resources and Governance / Director of People Development
  • Supporting the Learning Services Manager, work collaboratively with training administration teams across the business to improve the current ways of recording and reporting learning activity at local level ultimately impacting company level
  • Support the Learning Quality and Compliance Manager with the generation of an annual Company Learning Report

Knowledge & Skills

  • Able to demonstrate ability to use modelling, statistical analysis and visualisation tools from raw data sources to produce insightful reports and Management information as well as applying analytical tools to identify trends and indicators.
  • Proven Ability to use engaging visualization tools to communicate key messages to a variety of stakeholders - utilising the most appropriate medium for the audience
  • Background in providing analytical support to the a business function
  • Working Knowledge of SAP , Success Factors and other key reporting tools and HRIS platforms
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Able to demonstrate a strong customer orientated approach
  • Experience of working in a finance related function
  • Degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent through experience
  • Demonstrable application of analytics to facilitate business decisions
  • Demonstrable background in development of KPI's / Scorecards
  • Knowledge of a range of analytical and visualisation tools
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills are essential as well as demonstrable relationship management and influencing skills
