The role: Finances Analyst
Provide analytical support to the Teams in meeting regulatory deliverables relating to the internal model application and associated requirements.
Apply for temporary tolerance to utilise internal models for calculating regulatory capital requirements during Q1 2019. This role will provide support throughout the regulatory application process, including the implementation thereof.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Assisting the Reg Advisory and LEM leads with key deliverables relating to the internal model application;
* Co-ordinating the workload and deliverables relating to the application process;
* Detailed analytical review and understanding of information requirements;
* Liaising with Risk and the relevant finance teams across CEP on implementation of internal models;
* Assisting with key initiatives impacted by the model application, including financial and regulatory disclosures and capital planning;
* Ad-hoc requirements as required.
Knowledge/Experience:
* Financial services experience required
* Regulatory knowledge of CRD/CRR an advantage
* Financial reporting experience an advantage
Skills:
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Good presentation skills
Competencies:
* Strong technical and analytical skills
* Self-motivated and ability to work independently
* Ability to carry out instructions effectively and efficiently
* Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines
* Professional approach to work
* Good team player
* Professional communication/interpersonal skills at all levels
