Manpower are currently recruiting for an HR Analyst and Continuous Improvement for a prestigious client based in Birmingham.

The successful applicant will be working to support the HR Team with the below tasks allowing them to maximise their time with their teams and focus on the process eliminating abnormalities. The successful candidate will gain exposure and learn about company systems, build effective working relationships with teams across the business and provide invaluable support to the HR Team. A primary responsibility will also involve continuous improvement to help drive down costs while improving team capacity.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting/Databases;
    • Create and maintain accurate and quality databases using access or excel;
    • Create weekly/monthly reports to be sent via email and shared in the appropriate location;
    • Liaise with multiple stakeholder to ensure data requests are maintained;
    • Own the development of their own key technical skills;
    • Train other team members on business tools to improve team self-sufficiency;
    • Create adhoc reports as required;
    • Maintain the team SharePoint including projects built into the site.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including operations and HR to improve and create processes where possible.
    • Use Microsoft Visio to share new projects and improvements to stakeholders.
  • Performance management;
    • Own and produce data as required through use of the performance tool;
    • Improve the performance management tool through continuous improvement.
  • Team Compliance
    • Create and share business performance/compliance metrics to team leaders to help support a more efficient team.
  • Payroll
    • Run and own payroll for the business vendors

Qualities, Skills & Attributes

  • Must understand Excel at an expert level and be willing to expand own excel skills, if required. Some SQL knowledge is also desired.
  • An understanding of SharePoint and how to edit is desired, but not essential.
  • Discretion and reliability, ability to handle sensitive and personal information professionally and confidentially
  • Confident and experienced in use of PC, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to work without close supervision, organise and prioritise workloads and work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to interact comfortably with people at all levels
  • Focused on continuous improvement, forward thinking, suggesting additional value adding activities that could be built into the role
  • Basic understanding of UK employment policies and procedures would be advantageous.

The above role is paying £11.75 per hour
