The Company

Manpower is recruiting for a Business Migration Operations team member on behalf of our client located in Stevenage. This is a fantastic full-time permanent position.

Our client is one of the world's largest distributors of electronic components and embedded solutions and they are now looking for the right person to join their European Business Migration team.

The Role

In this team, you will assist in managing the process of transferring information to sister companies in coordination with the customers and suppliers therefore, resulting in a seamless transfer for customers which will return profits and supports the design work of the European group companies.

As a Business Migration Operations team member, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Business migration opportunity qualification internally with group companies and externally with colleagues in Asia and the Americas, customers and suppliers
  • Independent and interactive, effective cooperation with a broad range of professionals at a variety of levels within the Avnet organisation and its franchised suppliers and its customers.
  • Manage and work Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to ensure all RFQs are actioned within agreed Performance Metrics turnaround time. Also ensuring you are competitive in the offshore market.
  • Achieve Business migration metrics and compliance measurements including:
  • Offshore Revenue and Margin targets for migrations from EMEA to Asia & EMA and vice versa.
  • Quote Turn-around time
  • Timely RFQ Escalation
  • Quote to Book achievement (Quote to Book Hit Ratio)

Key Skills & Attributes

To be successful as a Business Migration Operations team member, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Good attention to detail with ability to organise and track large amounts of data
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in distribution business
  • Proven ability to manage heavy workloads and prioritize accordingly
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken, including presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong PC skills, particularly working with advanced Excel
  • MS Office experience required
  • Working knowledge in supply chain, sales, product management or operations is a preference
  • SAP and Microsoft Power BI Business Intelligence Analytics knowledge is a preference
