Maintenance Technician - Plymouth - Full Time

Manpower is excited to be working with our client in Plymouth to find a Maintenance Technician. Our client is a leading international company who specialise in the transport industry and has recently has the role of Maintenance Technician become available within their dedicated production team.

About the role

For the role of Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of their state-of-the-art production equipment. You will be undertaking the planned maintenance on all production equipment, performing a proactive maintenance regime and accurately recording results. You will also be responsible for undertaking minor breakdown repairs and making sure there is enough spare parts in stock. In addition, you will be helping colleagues to maintain high levels of health and safety standards and training them on the correct use of new equipment.

About the candidate

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Technician you will either have a formal apprenticeship or 3 years' experience within a similar role. You should also have a thorough understanding of the production process and sub-processes as well as a clear knowledge of total production maintenance routines. On a personal level you will be highly organised and able to deal with changing priorities.
