Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers, is looking for an experienced Part Time Personal Assistant (PA) to provide a professional, accurate and reliable PA and administration support service to the Design Engineering Team (DET), along with administrative assistance to the extended business unit as required. The working hours are 20 hours per week between Monday-Friday.

The DET is part of the Engineering Directorate within a Nuclear Project Team and its function is to manage and deliver the design for buildings, electrical systems, roads and networks. This it therefore an exciting opportunity to join our client during the project in an administrative capacity.

Main Responsibilities:

*To provide professional and efficient admin support to the DET Team.
*To be responsible for diary and itinerary management and preparation of meeting packs.
*To be responsible for the creation and maintenance of distribution lists.
*Record and produce minutes for key business meetings.
*To be responsible for the management, organisation and filing of electronic and physical documents and records as appropriate.
*Provide office services such as reprographics, binding, stationary orders etc.
*Arrange meetings and co-ordinate the booking of rooms, arrange travel, accommodation, pool/hire vehicles and special events as required.
*Administer the ordering and payment of goods and services utilising the recognised IT system.
*Respond to phone/email enquiries to/from wide range of external parties etc.
*Prepare letters, documents, ensure reports are well presented.
*Support HoF and team leaders in recruitment and management activities.
*Keep up to date training/induction logs on all team members and liaise with HR.
*Administer on-boarding of new recruits.


Skills required:

*Previous experience as a Personal Assistant.
*Good organisational skills (flexible/organised/methodical).
*Ability to work independently and be proactive.
*Excellent communication/interpersonal skills notably with various levels of the organisation and externally.
*The ability to work as an integral part of a team contributing to team success, communications and a positive working environment.
*Flexible approach with the ability to multi-task and work on own initiative.
*Discretion - confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
*Attention to detail.
*Competent in the use of Microsoft Outlook (or similar diary/email application), Word, Excel & Power Point.
