HGV Technician

Working for one of the world's leading manufacturers of trucks, you will be servicing, repairing and performing warranty work on a variety of heavy goods vehicles. This is a great opportunity to be part of a world-renowned automotive company as an HGV Technician in a busy and rewarding environment.

The Role:

• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures.
• Fault diagnosis.
• Perform warranty work on vehicles.
• Road test vehicles when required (if holder of HGV license).
• Assist with roadside breakdowns.
• Ensure that service sheets are completed as per company regulations.
• Earlies and Lates: 06:00-15:30 and 14:30-12:00 Midnight.

The Requirements:

• City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent.
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Experience within the commercial vehicle industry.
• Basic working knowledge of Vehicle Technology.
• Driving licence (HGV Class 1 preferred)
• Computer literate

The Package:

• Coventry Based
• 45 hrs a week
• Overtime & Call out
• £14.50 p/h PLUS £3.40 night shift allowance on hours between 10pm and midnight
