We are looking for an experienced scheduler or a recent graduate with a lot of energy to join a successful team of Technical support engineers, Scheduling co-ordinators, On-site Administrators and customer service representatives that are delivering high levels of customer services for our clients Life Science and Chemical Analysis customers.

About the job:

The main role is to work closely with the different teams to efficiently schedule Field Service Engineers across UK & Ireland by liaising with the Customer, Parts & Logistics Teams and the Field Engineers. The role is very operational and is often very challenging. In addition to the daily scheduling activities of an Operational Service Scheduler, the ideal candidate is responsible to maintain and improve the overall effectiveness of the on site delivery channel. This includes meeting of contractual commitments, maintaining the productivity of the internal customer engineering team. The candidate would be required to project manage many scheduled services and installations for key account customers. Other activities would be to provide time lines for ongoing installations working closely with our Sales teams and customers. You will be required to develop and understand scheduling reports from SAP to ensure that all the projects are on track!

Your Responsibilities:

Scheduling reactive and proactive support services such as repairs, scheduled services, installations, Customer Education and Lab moves

liaison with Sales and Support Delivery Managers on all planning & Customer issues.

Providing problem resolution to optimise the efficiency and up time availability of customer systems

Calling customers and Engineers daily

Ensure customer satisfaction through all interactions

You will be part of the UK& Ireland SSC team, helping to support all the different functions from scheduling, planning and general customer services.

Profile:

Enjoy direct contact with customers and have excellent communication skills

Customer driven with good interpersonal skills

You have a clearly demonstrated structured approach to work with the ability to organise and prioritise your workload effectively

You have maybe worked in a complex lab environment or highly pressurised environment.

You have an aptitude to learn new skills and apply knowledge to solve complex scheduling problems

A confident person with an excellent telephone manner

3-5 Year's experience in a high-pressured customer facing role using SAP is an advantage

Degree in business administration or business studies is an advantage

Project management experience is an advantage and a key skill in developing this role.
