Quality Compliance Manager

Manpower are working with one of the North East's premier engineering companies,, with ties to several high profile industries. As a result of continued business growth they are looking to appoint a new QHSE compliance manager

About The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for development, management, and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) for the purpose of QHSE assurance, working towards the goal of compliance to business, QHSE, and regulatory compliance across all activities. You will oversee the cascading of the IMS throughout the business promoting proper usage and advocating a right first time approach to operational compliance. You will perform reviews of IMS data and ensure it is performing as needed and highlight any areas where it may be under performing. You will also perform audits of previous system information and look at how any errors or deficiencies can be corrected with the applicable department.

About You

You will hold a NEBOSH general certificate and have experience and knowledge of QHSE legislation and ISO standards for QHSE, You will have previous experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment. You will have an experience of performing audits and be able to lead audit training. You will have experience using root cause analysis tools. You will be articulate and calm under pressure, able to deal with raising issues with senior staff members.
