About The Company

Our client is a designer of bespoke oil and gas equipment, handling projects of up to £100 million across the world. Due to a strong pipeline of secured projects and orders they are looking to appoint a lead electrical commissioning engineer

About the role

You will be responsible for providing the electrical perspective within the commissioning of bespoke equipment for the offshore industry. You will be involved from the pre contract phase, assisting the senior commissioning engineer in developing the commissioning plan. You will be involved in FAT and SAT and resolve any issues found, you will be responsible for making sure equipment is delivered to internal standards and that customer's feedback is incorporated into future commissioning plans.

About You

You will have an electrical engineering qualification and 18th edition wiring regulations. You will be able to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical drawings and have an understanding how an electrical system would function with the mechanical system. You will have had experience working on low voltage commissioning previously and understand safe working practices. You will be open to development and willing to enrol on courses as needed.
