Holiday Sales Advisor

Manpower are currently recruiting for a large number of Holiday Sales Advisors for one of our client's award- winning contact centre based in Newcastle.

As a Holiday Sales Advisor your main responsibilities will be to:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers both new and existing.
• Deliver sales through service to secure holiday bookings and supply existing customers with upgrades on their holiday packages over the telephone both inbound and outbound and across the website.
• Focus on achievement of both individual and team targets.
• Taking part in regular product and sales training to increase knowledge and expertise on policies and packages to be able to upsell holiday packages and advise of best options for customers.
• Take extra care when completing transactions of bookings and fulfil service requirements utilising the reservation systems and processes already in place.
• Regularly taking part in coaching and development sessions to improve call handling, system skills and procedural issues across the contact centre.

Person Specification:

• Excellent previous customer service experience preferably in a sales/service environment but not essential.
• Great attention to detail and excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
• Passion for excellent customer service and delivering a quality service.
• Experience of working in an effective, target driven team.
• Past experience of resilience and self-motivation.

The contact centre is in operation 7 days a week: Monday - Sunday 8am - 8pm, full time hours are 37.5 hours per week and part time is 25 hours per week. Full flexibility is required however as a part time advisor you will mostly be covering evenings and weekends. This is for a 12-month fixed term contract and with a £8 per hour pay rate.
