IT Support Agent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Agent to join the world's leading independent, end-to-end IT services and solutions company. Based in Newcastle, you will join a brand new team focused on delivering customer service to the highest standard.
Providing a 1st line support service, you will provide customers with a fault resolution and advice service. Experience in a customer service/ contact centre role would be advantageous.
Within a busy service desk, you will receive incidents and service requests from various routes including telephone and email.
Responsibilities:
- Offering advice to end users and customers on all areas of IT and troubleshooting
- Actively troubleshoot to manage incidents and service requests in a customer sensitive manner
- Implement and improve processes and procedures within the team
- Improve users confidence in the use of computer software whilst being empathetic to a variety of new and experienced learners needs
A relevant IT course or similar would be beneficial however is not essential.
You will have excellent communication skills, a professional attitude and a good telephone manner. You will also have the ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
