MULTINATIONAL SERVICE COORDINATOR - CROYDON - £150 - 6 Months
The work location is in CROYDON and is a 6 months contract.
Pay rate is £150 per day.
The role is working for A multinational finance and insurance corporation with operations in more than 80 countries.
Purpose of the role:
Service assigned portfolio of UK underlying policies of overseas Produced Multinational programs.
Ensure that customers are treated fairly and in accordance with company standards.
Accountabilities for the role:
- Day to day handling of assigned accounts for all commercial lines of business. Including: -
- Liaising with Broker/Client/Producing Office to ensure all underwriting information received and agreed.
- Face to Face client/broker meetings.
- Calculation/validation of premiums.
- Converting manuscript forms to meet local standards/requirements.
- Respond to technical queries received from all business areas and Broker/Client/Producing Offices.
- Co-ordinate Client reporting requirements (i.e. loss data).
- Handling Risk Managed/Captive accounts, issuing internal reinsurance documents, monitoring cash-flow agreements and liaising with Finance Dept to resolve premium queries.
- Co-ordinate issuance of statutory certificates.
- Interaction with other internal Depts - Claims, Receivables, Bookings, RI (GRO), Compliance etc. answering technical queries and finding solutions for reconciliation issues etc.
- Issuance of policy documentation and providing accurate bookings instructions for processing in a timely manner
- Attend broker/client meetings for existing and potential clients to discuss policy issues and to establish/maintain communication links - expected minimum 1 per month (face to face).
- Provide intelligence/information to Producing Offices regarding local market practices and trends, legislative changes etc.
- Ensure Department and Global Markets' SLA's are met in relation to the handling of OMeGA Requests and document issuance, for assigned portfolio.
- Responsible for all Regulatory compliance e.g. ELTO, MID, Pool Re and policy statutory limits and coverages and keeping up to date with UK Market trends/legislation, e.g. IPT tax increases
Experience & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills - able to speak to people at all levels and to clearly and concisely answer technical insurance related queries, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management skills -manage assigned portfolio and meet both internal and external expectations. Must be able to switch priorities to meet changing needs
- Ability to maintain up to date knowledge of current market practices, procedures and changes to product offerings.
- Good working knowledge of commercial insurance - progression towards CII qualifications desirable.
- Computer literacy required: IT packages e.g. MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience working in a servicing/underwriting environment.
