Electrical Fitter

An Electrical Fitter vacancy within a global manufacturer of bespoke machinery with a worldwide client base. Adhering to tight deadlines with in a matrix of multiple teams (Design, Sales, Procurement and Production), the role requires the interpretation of BOM's and the ability to read electrical engineering drawings. The person selected will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often working to tight deadlines while meeting the expectations of multiple customers. 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Certification is essential.

The Responsibilities:

  • Assemble parts to specifications including: sub-assemblies, machine build, wiring of machines, machine panel build
  • Assist in the achievement of the assembly operational plan
  • Complete the purchase of the computerised daily order report
  • Complete documentation required for tasks
  • Identify problems with assemblies / parts and raise any quality issues
  • Operate handling equipment and machinery (when trained)
  • The Requirements:

  • 17th or 17th Edition Electrical Certification
  • Previous electrical assembly experience in a machine manufacturing environment
  • Experience of assembling large fabricated parts to engineering drawings
  • Able to handle sheet metal, machined and electrical components
  • Able to read electrical engineering drawings and processes
  • Understand Bills of Materials
  • The Package:

  • Bristol Based - BS14
  • £16.00-£20.00 Per Hour
  • Monday - Friday, 39 Hours P/W - (Mon-Thurs 07:45-16:15, Fri 07:45-15:15)
