Manpower is partnering with a leading technology distributor in their search for a Facilities Project Manager (12-month FTC). This role will play a key role in delivering a large construction and installation project at their brand-new facility in Leeds.
With customers across the globe, the business' distribution centres are integral to maintaining their reputation as a market leader in this space. Their new development in Leeds - a large purpose-built warehouse - will be crucial to this, and you could be part of it. This is a dynamic role that will see you have a hand in both the external completion of the build work and internal installation of the various equipment and facilities such as conveyors and offices.
Our client is looking for a Facilities Project Manager that possesses a diverse skillset, that will allow them to successfully take on the following challenges;
- Ensuring that the site is in line with current CDM regulations
- Managing all contractors on site to ensure that work is carried out in a timely and safe manner
- Championing a culture of health and safety on the site
- Liaising with internal teams to schedule and prioritise work
This is a rewarding role that will suit someone that has the following skills and experience;
- Experience of leading construction/installation projects
- Contractor management experience
- A background in manufacturing or warehousing
- Formal qualifications within health and safety
- Strong working knowledge of current CDM regulations
- Project management and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and solve issues independently
In return, the business offers a highly competitive salary and for the duration of the 12-month contract, you will be eligible for company benefits such as an onsite gym and 23.5 days holiday (+ bank)
The working hours for this role at Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 - given the nature of the role the business offers a flexible working approach as sometimes this may change.
