Operation Technician - Plymouth - Full Time
Manpower is excited to be working with our client to find an experienced Operation Technician. Our client is an International leader in the fields of Medical and Safety Technology and you will work in a state of the art facility close to the City centre with plenty of parking. My client is incredibly proud of the work they do which plays a huge part in saving people's lives around the world.
About This Role
Within your role as Operation Technician you will be supplying technical and quality support in the Manufacturing of Fixed Gas and Flame Detection Products, components and assemblies to ensure quality produce and service is supplied to our client's customers. You will have a responsibility to comply with the integrated Management Systems and minimise any impact on the environment whilst carrying out your duties. You will continually improve the setup, calibration and test procedures. You will also be pro-active in identifying protentional quality concerns, evaluating and critiquing current practises. Your role will also consist of contributing to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history records. This role will also support other site functions for operational and administrative processes.
About the Candidate
To be a successful Operation Technician you will need to have 5 years experience within this industry, of which two must have been in a technical or engineering function. A qualification in this field would be desirable however, experience is more important for my client. You must be IT literate and experience in working with ERP systems and in-dept electronics principles would be preferred. You will also need to be self-motived, a hard worker and a strong communicator.
