We are recruiting a full time Programme Administrator to join one of our most valued clients based in Cardiff.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide and receive routine information
  • Meet and greet visitors in a polite and friendly manner ensuring adherence to office protocol.
  • Manage the telephone/switchboard system, direct phone calls to the appropriate person. Be able to relay message accurately and in a timely fashion. Some calls may be confidential and sensitive and be from a range of internal and external individuals and organisations.
  • Setting up and maintaining filing systems both electronic and paper whilst adhering to information governance guidelines to protect personal information.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail including recorded and special deliveries.
  • Organise and attend meeting and where appropriate take minutes/notes, produce, copy and circulate
  • Schedule and book events/meetings/training facilities, set up the rooms and arrange any other requirements as required
  • Provide a comprehensive, accurate secretarial/word processing service including drafting standard letters, editing and formatting reports ensuring a high standard of presentation.
  • Collate and process data

Skills and experience required:

  • Word processing to RSA III, NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification experience.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of a full range of administrative procedures and organisational duties
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Experience and knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel in order to input orders and produce data/charts.

In order to be successful in the above position you will be able to maintain confidentiality at all time, friendly, reliable, self- motivated, well organised individual. You will need to be able to communicate and liaise with staff, members of partner organisations and work to deadlines.

This role is offering £8.01 per hour rising to £9.12 after 12 week period. The assignment is for an period of 3 months. The post is 37.5 hours per week based in Cardiff. Please note there is no onsite car parking facility.
