Manpower are currently working with an organisation based in Rugby who are looking to appoint a Production Engineer on a full time, permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role is to work within the manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements and resolve engineering issues.
A successful Production Engineer at this organisation will be responsible for the following:
- Assist the Quality Engineer and production teams in identifying and resolving product quality issues.
- Research, analyse and recommend process improvements.
- Evaluate cost savings for improvement activities.
- Oversee the purchase, qualification, delivery, relocation and disposal of assets within the production area.
- Write machine process and performance specifications prior to ordering equipment.
- Initiate and progress the process of creating and gaining approval of purchase specifications.
- Plan, organise and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for capital purchases.
- Plan, organise and execute the safe delivery and movement of assets.
