Manpower are currently recruiting for an HR Assistant for a prestigious Manufacturing client based in Tysley, Birmingham to provide a comprehensive HR support service by providing proactive business partnering support of line managers during absence management processes and to support with the day to day running of the HR Department.

Main duties will include;

Working with the HR Manager and HR Advisor, ensure that the recruitment process from Request to recruit through to offer to the candidate is managed in a professional, timely manner, supporting interviews as necessary.

To produce reports and ad-hock HR information as required for analysis

Produce contracts, offer letters and other employment related correspondence as required for new starters and existing employees as necessary.

Working closely with the HR Manager and the HR Advisor support the generalist HR activities as necessary, managing all activities within the employee life cycle from on boarding to leaving the business, such as recruitment, disciplinary' s, grievances, flexible working requests, and other relevant generalist activities, support and advice for Maternity/Paternity/Parental/Adoption requests.

Train and coach managers to improve their line management capability.

Dealing with general HR and payroll queries and administration.

Owning, leading or supporting HR projects and initiatives.

Undertake HR projects, as appropriate, taking ownership of the initiative and its implementation.

Suitable candidates will have;

Able to work on their own initiative as I am not always on site

Friendly and approachable

Intermediate or advanced on Microsoft

Great planning and organising skills

Excellent work ethic

CIPD level 3 associate

This is a part time vacancy, working Monday, Wednesday and Friday 22.50 hours a week on a temporary basis paying £11 per hour with an immediate start that could lead to a long term role.
