Our client, a leading energy provider in the UK is looking for Resource Planner to join their growing team based at Westwood Business Park in Coventry. In this role you will be working as part of the Installations Team and will be responsible for proactively managing the live day to day schedule of customer appointments for our field based team. You will be on the front line talking to customers on a daily basis.

Start date: ASAP

Hours: Full Time 37 hours. Monday to Friday between 7am & 6pm. Saturday 8am & 4pm

Contract Length: 12 months with the potential to extend and even go permanent.

Hourly rate: £9.92 with the potential to progress as you develop in the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be a key member of the team, proactively managing the live day to day schedule of customer appointments for our field based team.
  • Your organisational skills will mean our resource is always effectively utilised, to provide a great service to our customers.
  • You will be directing both direct labour and contractors across a geographical region to maximise the company's productivity.
  • In the instances of emergency call outs, you will be organising unscheduled work in line with the Capacity Manager to meet crucial demand.
  • You will monitor and manage the compliance of appointments, investigating and escalating any non-compliance issues.
  • The customer will be at the heart of everything you do, making sure our schedule adequately meets their needs.
  • In the instance of cancellations you will handle our customers with care to make sure they are informed on time, and a new appointment is arranged.
  • You will constantly review the performance of this schedule against company SLAs and will be dealing with stakeholders across the business to ensure our customer commitments upheld.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Ability to work to challenging deadlines with attention to detail
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team to deliver against targets.
  • Professional and flexible approach to work Energy, drive and enthusiasm and an ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Clear understanding of excellent customer service and relationship building.
