Manpower are pleased to be recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join the site installation team on behalf of our busy client based in St. Albans. This is a temp to perm position starting immediately!
Hourly Rate: Up to £14 an hour based on Experience
Duties Include:
- Fitting electrical components to chassis plates and external covers.
- Fitting copper busbar systems up to 6300A.
- Assist with installation of LV switchgear at site when required.
- Working from manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings and sub-assembly drawings
- Assembly of simple and complex mechanical parts
- Mechanically building bespoke Switchgears
- Using a variety of hand tools
- Working as part of a team
About the Candidate:
- Proven track record of assembling mechanical parts
- Experience working with a variety of components
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Be a good communicator and can work to own initiative
- Hard working
