Vehicle Technician

Manpower are currently working with a used car dealership in Rugby who are looking to appoint a Vehicle Technician on a full time, permanent basis.

The Vehicle Technicians play their part by servicing and repairing vehicles and carry out the pre-delivery service, identify any mechanical, electrical or other faults and rectify them to ensure the vehicle is safe, legal and meets the required quality standard for retail.

You will be based in Rugby and your working hours will be 42.5 across five days, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, 8 hours a day with 30 minute unpaid lunch break. You would not be required to work weekends or bank holidays.

On offer is a package of up to £29,900, made up of basic salary and bonus. There is also the offer voluntary overtime, so there are more opportunities to earn. You'll start on 23 days holiday which increases the longer you're employed.

The Vehicle Technician is required to have experience and:

• Is qualified to NVQ level 2.
• Has their own tools.
• Works as part of a team and under their own initiative to get the job done.
• Is experienced in working in a fast paced environment.
• Can train individuals and apprentices as necessary to comply with the needs of the business.
