FT - £26,000 to £29,250 depending on experience

Based in York and travel to Leeds, the openreach Team leader is a pivotal role responsible for leading a team to deliver results for our customers, ensuring they get the help they need when they need it. The role is focused on driving a team to deliver a brilliant service "first time and every time" to customers.

Your role is focused on driving a team to deliver brilliant service "first time every time and on time" to our customers, no matter who they are or what support they need. You will be an active and visible leader, focused on coaching your people to answer questions, solve customer problems, resolves issues where things don't run smoothly or connect customers with the right team.

Your duties will include;

  • First point of contact for the customers contacting the Sales Office, dealing with all enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answering customer queries and providing information and /or distributing request.
  • Own and effectively handle escalations that have become complex or require manager intervention.
  • Identify processes and procedures causing escalations and then creating problem statements to resolve within your team.
  • Coaches the team to be results driven, delivering commitments made around quality, cost and time.
  • Accountable for Line of Business complaints & escalations performance.
  • Deliver customer satisfaction improvements by understanding core stakeholder requirements and driving successful outcomes.

To be successful in role, you'll be experienced in working within a challenging service desk environment and always make it a priority to understand the end to end customer journey across the function in which you work. You'll inspire, coach and engage your people to deliver their best team performance, understand and meet strategic priorities and champion the needs of our customers.

Based in York but you will be required to travel to Leeds between sites. This is a full time role on going until July 2020 core hours Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week between 0800 to 1700.
