FP&A Analyst required for our client a leading global paints and Coatings Company and a major producer of speciality chemicals, with leading market positions and brands in countries around the world. They operate in a number of important market segments ranging from buildings and infrastructure to transport, industrial and consumer goods.

As an UK FP&A Analyst you will be responsible for reporting, forecasting, analysing and presenting the operating costs for the full marketing unit including A&P (advertising and promotions) spend as well as supporting the FP&A reporting of the Contractor Sales Channel.

You will have ownership of UK Marketing fixed costs including Advertising & Promotion spend. You will also ensure timely & accurate reporting of operating costs in SAP and reconciliation to HFM. Additionally you will Partner with budget holders to ensure stakeholders are fully informed on costs and to allow for accurate forecasting.You will challenge and build working relationships to enable best opex & A&P outcome for the business.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

  • Part/Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA) with strong commercial acumen;
  • Able to communicate effectively with senior finance and non-finance colleagues;
  • Experience dealing with corporate requests and requirements.

Skills:

  • Excellent Excel Analytical Skills
  • Excellent Powerpoint presentational skills;
  • Knowledge of key systems (Cognos, SAP, HFM, Merlin XL) preferred.

  • Can present financial data clearly & accurately to non-finance people;
