Welder & Fabricator

A great opportunity for a either a MIG or TIG Welder/Fabricator to come on-board and work for a market leading fabrication company based in Bristol. This will be a permanent position with a very competitive salary on offer as well as benefits. All work is delivered with stringent quality control to the highest industry codes of practice, both European and UK.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day fabrication of a variety of structural products in stainless steel, mild steels and aluminium. Working on either MIG sheet from 1mm to 25mm, sections from 3mm to 15mm or TIG aluminium up to 5mm, stainless up to 3mm sheet. You must be able to read and fully understand engineering drawings and fabricate steelwork with minimal supervision.

The Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum experience in either MIG or TIG
  • Coded to EN-ISO / BS-EN or ASME IX standards would be desirable
  • Knowledge of radiographic, ultrasonic, NDT and MPI inspection methods
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing and process sheets
  • Ability to hold final required cosmetic finish with angle grinders and sanders

  • £25,000 - £30,000+ DOE
  • Monday - Friday, 40 Hours Per Week
