Job Details
Our client, one of the UK's leading Energy companies based in Barnwood, Gloucester is looking for a part time security administrator to join their team for a 3-6 month contract. The role is part time working 20 hours per week - 4 hours per day.
Reporting to the Company Manager, the Security Administrator is responsible for carrying out day to day general Company Security administration and data input tasks and activities including administration of Company Security Access Control Passes and Identification Cards.
The role provides essential back-office administrative support to the Company Security Manager in delivering Company Security management services to key stakeholders.
DIMENSIONS:
Administrative support to Company Security and the management of the physical security of the Corporate Estate, as well as the support to the management of several security projects including SMC Outsourcing, Visitor Management System and the Access Control System.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The postholder will:
- MAIN WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Operate as a team player
- Deal with direct enquiries from stakeholders received by telephone, email and general day to day interaction
- Liaise with suppliers and external bodies in the course of carrying out administrative duties
- KEY DECISIONS MADE BY ROLE
- Recommend improvements to administration processes from time to time
- Provide adhoc support to internal and external stakeholders, where appropriate
- Work on own initiative within agreed parameters
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Good level of computer skills, for example, Microsoft Exel, Word, Access and Powerpoint
- Proven office administration skills
- Able to work on own initiative, where appropriate
- Excellent communication skills necessary for liaising with all stakeholders, suppliers and external bodies
