Manpower are currently recruiting for a Resource Scheduler for our client based in Bellshill.

The Resource Management team are responsible for ensuring that the most appropriate engineer is tasked to an implementation project, service call or task given the resource available, and for forecasting and planning future resource requirements. The role of the Coordinator is to respond to all day to day booking requests in a timely manner and to deliver the day to day resource requests within the limits of the engineering resource available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To fulfil all engineer booking requests received by the Resource Management team.
  • To manage and maintain all resource bookings within the scheduling tool to ensure the efficient use of field engineering resource to meet business objectives including matching engineer levels.
  • To highlight any issues and provide alternative resourcing options that can help to minimise the risk to the successful fulfilment of all business requirements.
  • To highlight to the Team Leader where skills or capacity issues are impacting the ability to meet business requirements.
  • Produce, as required, weekly and monthly reports on key metrics and skills shortages

  • In this role, the successful candidate will be dealing with the day to day scheduling of up to 70 engineers between June and November. Diary management for the engineers will also be a top priority, to ensure the most efficient use of resources.

  • The hours of work are done on a rota basis with the shift pattern being either 8am-4.30pm or 9.30am-6pm.
