Electrical Technician

We are recruiting for E&I Technicians on behalf of our client, a leading Global Paints and Coatings company and major producer of speciality chemicals.

Based from their new state of the art Production Plant in Ashington, the E&I Technicians will be responsible for:

• The installation, calibration, maintenance & rectification of equipment
• Ensuring full maintenance of paint manufacturing, control, instrumentation equipment & systems.
• Assisting in the Testing and Commissioning of EC&I Systems
• Creating and maintaining isolation procedures, change control documents and systems

Required competencies:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Manufacturing/Heavy Industry, Commissioning/Maintaining/Supporting Site Systems
• Good understanding of PLC machinery maintenance
• Served a full Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
• Understanding of Commissioning Automated Systems
