CNC Miller (Programmer/Setter/Operator)

A great opportunity for a CNC Miller (Programmer/Setter/Operator) to come on-board and work for a market leading precision engineering company based in Bath. This will be a permanent position with a very competitive salary on offer as well as benefits. All work is delivered with stringent quality control to the highest industry codes of practice, both European and UK.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a variety of milling machines in the build of all products. Sequencing of operations, tooling, programming and setup requirements to manufacture components with an efficient approach. Continuously monitor product quality during build to improve production performance targets. Work in co-operation with other manufacturing teams to ensure the product is of the quality and standards expected

The Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience within precision engineering.
  • Extensive understanding of either FANUC 16, 18, 21IT control programme language.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
  • Conversant with both Metric and Imperial measuring systems.
  • Experience with a range of inspection equipment including: verniers, micrometers, CMM.
  • Experience with manual machining, turning and grinding would be desirable

  • £27,000 - £35,000+ DOE
  • Shift Work (Plus Shift Allowance) - 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
