BMS Engineer, Longcross, Surrey

Our Client provides a 6-star quality private concierge service to our exclusive clients. As a BMS Engineer you will provide maintenance and electrical installations of BMS and control systems in Client properties. You will have managed the control systems themselves and be experienced using Trend, TAC (Schneider Electric) & Loytec manufactured systems, working with Belimo, Sauter, Honeywell, Schneider, Sontay, Siemens parts etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct day to day service checks of BMS & control systems
- Daily monitoring of the system for faults
- Replace BMS parts (actuators, control modules, wall controllers & valves)
- Identifying defective parts and ordering them through line manager
- Checking adequate spares available
- Calibration of controllers etc
- Downloading the software when replacing parts, i.e. control modules, fan & wall controllers
- Oversee & liaise with specialist contractors
Essentials to the role include:
- Previous experience in 3 phase installations
- Previous experience in Star Delta installations
- Previous experience installing or maintaining BMS and control systems (PLCs)
- Experience using TAC manufactured systems Experience using TREND manufactured systems
- BS7671 17th Edition City & Guilds qualification or equivalent
- Preventative maintenance experience of all equipment by review and audit of materials and equipment periodically
- Experience attending to ad hoc maintenance calls and break down repairs
- Technical administration experience including periodic reporting and upkeep of accurate maintenance and service records
- Proven practical experience and knowledge of building maintenance/mechanical installations
- 17th Edition

- Monitor the system for faults
- Replace BMS parts (actuators, control modules, wall controllers & valves)
- Calibration of controllers etc.
- Downloading the software when replacing parts, i.e. control modules, fan & wall controllers
You will work a minimum of 40 hours a week, core hours will be Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm however flexibility to work additional hours where required is key.
Additional Information;
- Must supply own hand tools, we supply power tools & testing equipment
- Full valid UK driving licence and transport
- Successful candidates will be put through a standard DBS check
