Customer Service Representative – Collections – Full Time – Imminent start date
Starting salary £19,000 rising to up to £21,000 after 12 months – plus quarterly bonus scheme and discretionary annual bonus subject to your performance.

You’ll be working with customers whose accounts have fallen into arrears, to help them find a repayment option that fits their needs. Whether you’re in contact with them over the phone, on email or through the post, you’ll recognise when they’re in financial difficulty and will use your excellent listening and negotiation skills to find a solution that helps them to get back on track.
Don’t worry if you’re new to this type of work, NewDay will give you full training and ongoing support, so you’ll be fully equipped with everything you need to know right from day one. You’ll even have the chance to join our ASPIRE Development Programme, which will allow you to increase your earnings after six months, and then again after a further six months.
You’ll receive a starting salary of £19,000. You’ll have the opportunity to increase your salary to up to £19,500 after 6 months, then up to £21,000 after 12 months through our development programme, ASPIRE. On top of this, there’s a discretionary annual bonus of 7.5% of your salary. What kind of person are we looking for? In short, we’re looking for a real people person. Someone that shows real empathy to people who may be in difficult situations. If you have previous experience in a similar role, that would be great. But what’s most important is that you have a positive attitude, great communication skills and keen eye for detail; with the ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a positive outlook. Starting on 3rd June, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week over 5 days between the hours of 08:00 - 21:00, with one weekend day as part of your shift pattern.
Because of the nature of what we do, you’ll also need to pass a credit, criminal record and fraud database check.
